Here is an official, computerised order from a large business to their local printer. It covers four jobs and here are the four job bags.
A job bag carries the documents relating to one job. Its front (and back, quite often) are printed up like a business form with places to write the description of the job, instructions, deadlines, and work out the costing.
The Museum's collection of documents has thousands of job bags from various printers. They are very informative about what work was being done and how it was done.
