This chequewriter was acquired from a printer in Melbourne around 1980. The records do not yet reveal which printer it was.

It was produced by the "Todd Protectograph Co" of Rochester NY and has patent dates up to 1915. It also bears the decal label of an Australian Agent, Chas E. Tims and Son, Melbourne.

The unit is a specimen machine: instead of printing dollar amounts its die has the words "NOT VALID SPECIMEN CHECK".
