Volunteers

As with most heritage organisations and museums, volunteering at MMOP is an essential part of the operation. Here, Frank and Laura are sorting a stack of type-cases.

Volunteers at MMOP can develop a 'specialty' among the many tasks, for example working with books, documents, types, matrices, engravings, machines, cabinetry. [Not all of these are active at present.] But whatever their specialty, each one comes to the showroom to be a guide when more visitors show up.
