Our Collection of Computers
Including Calculators, Accounting Machines and Typewriters
PAGE IN PREPARATION
Our Computer collection also includes a range of machines whose work
has been taken over, in the main, by computers. These include typewriters,
calculators and accounting machines. Automatic adddressing machines are
with the typewriters.
A number of desktop computers date from the pre-PC days. Typewriters
and calculators date from early 20th century.
Like so many of our collections, this area needs quite a lot
of work by dedicated, knowledgeable and patient persons before it
can realise its potential.
